This thread is a testament to the gentlemen's agreement set forth by our cube, whereas we respect the claim each of us have laid on certain legendary creatures we've selected to general our EDH decks.
And in the event that these would change, here is a thread where we can simply update those lists, allowing discussion to occur in the other thread.

Isamaru is a 2/2 for 1 White mana. That deck idea is designed for 1v1 play, but imagine it:
Turn 1, Draw, Land Drop, General, 2 General Damage.
Turn 2, Draw, Land Drop, No removal spell? lol, 4 General Damage
Turn 3, Draw, Land Drop, Removal Spell? No?, some aura, 6-8 General Damage.
Etc. Etc.
Kill it, I recast for 3 mana, then 5 mana, then 7 mana.
It's just an idea.
But I also thought about a five color deck that utilized the creatures that Jason was discussing. A five color beatdown deck filled with the best and most efficient creatures in magic that can pack an answer for anything.
It would be a longterm goal, as the lands get pretty expensive.

I finally decided on keeping the following deck built and sleeved up:
Jhoira of the Ghitu
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary
Maga, Traitor to Mortals
Everytime I go for the three color builds, I find myself being to scatter brained to lock down a theme, and these have proven to be decks that I can have fun with.
Troy had his run with Vig, but I need it's no longer listed in his claim, so I'm assuming he's moved on. If not, I'll gladly make sure I have other decks on me at all times.
Jason, if you still have moderation for this forum, delete all other subsequent posts from any of my alter-egos in this thread to clean it up a bit, and I'll keep this updated.

Zur is SO good  Good luck resisting the urge to build THE Zur deck. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if every one of us had one of the "Power" generals as one of our decks. A power throw down once in a while would be fun. Sample "power" generals include: Vorosh, the Hunter Zur the Enchanter Sharuum the Hegemon Uril, the Miststalker (if build correctly, I hear) Arcum Daggsen Azami, Lady of Scrolls Erayo, Soratami Ascendant I would gladly build Sharuum again for our "cutthroat games". |

I keep getting tempted to rebuild Sliver since all I miss is the Sliver Queen, and I have all the best ones, but it's such a linear deck. It's either Slivers and Draw, or Slivers and Counter, or Slivers and GY Recursion. I wish there was a Legendary Sliver in not all five colors, maybe Green Black Blue or something. I just don't want this to be a 5c deck, and there aren't a lot of generals out there that synergize well with Slivers that aren't 5c.

Been in the mood as of late for some EDH. Thinking of possibly having some people over for said EDH play and other tasty games around New Years (I'll post dates in Availability later on)
I have quite a few as everyone knows, but here are the ones I will be using whenever we play next.
