Having constant migraines and it sucks, but relatively bored and figured I would do something slightly constructive.
Here is the process of making a character for Power Cylinder. Its a lot like Gaia Saga in its format but with a few differences that should be mentioned and not overlooked. I still need to get with Jason so that we can get the skill tree created, so that isn't an option right now, but I figured what the hell, might as well post some stuff for people to read.
Step 1: Choose your Race This is pretty damn obvious. You choose from the selectable races in the game or you make your own and have it okayed by the GM. Roll for racial abilities when needed, fill in your physical stuff, your name and personality traits and call it done.
Step 2: Choose your Profession This is different than choosing a job in Gaia Saga. I figured that since Cluster 72 is huge that the amount of different jobs is also going to be huge. All jobs are custom made by you, the player, and so can pretty much be anything you can think of. You choose the name of the job then choose three tier one skills for that job that make sense. Depending on what three skills you pick you will discount your relevant statistics. The GM will ultimately decide which stats are discounted based on skill choice.
Step 3: Skills, abilities and spells Basically the same as Gaia Saga. You spend your points on what you want then finish it up.
Step 4: Equipment The GM decides all of your starting equipment, which will be dependent on skills and abilities as well as how much money you have and what part of the cluster you live in.

Old Skill Costs: For buying skills from the Gaia Saga manuals, just add 1,000 EXP to the original cost. The old skills will be plugged into their respective areas on the skill tree so you can see which ones are in which tier.
